It is a mixed working farm of sheep, beef cattle and crops, and is ideally situated for those walking the ledgendary Offa's Dyke, or visiting this unspoilt part of Britain. Alan and Sandra warmly welcome you to The Farm, Snead; situated in the beautiful border country of Shropshire, England and Montgomeryshire, Wales between Bishop’s Castle and Churchstoke. The early 19th Century farmhouse is large, with full central heating. The first-floor en-suite bedrooms (superking/twin) are spacious, south-facing and overlook the well established garden with views to the surrounding countryside. We also offer a ground-floor en-suite double bedroom. All bedrooms have television, digital radio, tea and coffee making facilities and hair-drier. Wi-fi internet access is available in all rooms. We welcome you to our home which is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are ideally placed for walking and cycling holidays especially given our proximity to Offa’s Dyke Path, Kerry Ridgeway, The Shropshire Way & Glyndŵr’s Way. Alternatively, for luxurious self-catering, our magnificent, 16th Century Barn Conversion Ty Camlad is beautifully appointed, adjacent to the farmhouse. It’s the perfect retreat for when you’re looking for something extra special. We are happy to discuss bespoke rates should you wish to book both the barn and the farmhouse to accommodate larger parties for a unique occasion.
